Isabee's is offering on-line beekeeping instruction tailored for beekeepers with 1-5 years of experience. We're offering this instruction in a series of four 2-hour zoom classes on these following topics.
Our instruction is specific to the bi-state area regarding these seasonal bee activities, timed just when you are preparing for these management practices.

Monday, May 13 |
Honey production - growing colonies for production, how and when to extract, equipment, processes and storage. |
Tuesday, July 16 |
Parasites and pathogens including varroa & tracheal mites, small hive beetle and wax moth control; testing, identification, treatments and timing. |
Monday, Sept 9 |
Overwintering - The most important colony trait - successful overwintering AND the most regionally specific management practice. How and when to prep your colonies, plus what does a "healthy colony" look like going into winter in our region. |
Feb 2025 TBD |
Spring Management & Swarm Control - Helping your over-wintered colonies for proper spring build up, detecting signs of swarm preparation, swarm control, capture and post-swarm management. |
Class will involve live on-line instruction with links to tailored hand-outs. Upon registration, you will receive a zoom class link with recommended reading in preparation for the class.

Class is live on-line via the Zoom meeting app , and a recorded version will also be available via the Wistia app for a limited time, after each session. |
